New Publication! A Different Tune: The Daffodil's Reveille
Share
This charming folk-tale is filled with animals allegorically described with illustrations based off of real-world photography.
I wrote this poem describing how the brave little wildflower became known for its trumpet after learning that the daffodil was my mother's favorite flower. When I was young, I was infamous in my family for being one of the most difficult people to wake up in the morning. My sister would describe me as being like a bear in hibernation and just as grumpy. This story absolutely comes from personal experiences and a preference for being woken up sweetly.
